Motor vehicle theft tops crime chart in Punjab

The data analysis of crime against property in Pakistan’s Punjab province, home to over 90 million people, shows motor vehicle theft (including motorbike and cars) on the top with 22 percent followed by robbery 20 percent and burglary 15 percent. The following donut chart explains nature of crime against property and its percentage in the province for the year 2015 as calculated from the cases registered with the police.

Note: The cancelled cases have not be calculated in this chart as shown in the chart No. 2.
