A notification of Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage about the new rates (per 60 seconds) for electronic media in Pakistan for airing government/public sector advertisements/campaigns was widely shared on social media recently.
A comparison of new rates with old rate shows the average percentage decrease is massive 87 percent. As per comparative analysis Roze News suffers 98 percent cut while ARY News seems ‘the best’ survivor with around 63 percent cut.
