2018

Our this story was mentioned along with due credits to our website in Public News’ prime time talk show on October 16, 2018 to expose the previous government’s negligence and indifferent attitude towards public schools in Punjab, Pakistan.

Our this story about mushrooming of private schools in Pakistan’s Punjab province made to the country’s mainstream media “Waqt News” in February this year.

The panelists in, one of the channels prime time programs, “2v2” based their discussion on schools’ data taken from our story. They didn’t mention Data Stories but we are happy they considered our content worth discussing to hold the government accountable for neglecting public schooling in the country.

2017

In December 2017, The News on Sunday (TNS)—a weekly magazine of The News (Jang Media Group) in one of its article on Right to Information Laws (RTIs) in Pakistan mentioned a survey conducted by Data Stories in 2016.

Earlier this survey was also mentioned in this news report of “Business Recorder” on the importance of data journalism.
