Are you interested in learning storytelling with data but don’t know how to begin?

The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas is offering free course “Data Visualization for Storytelling and Discovery” starting June 11.

The four-week massive open online course (MOOC) is open to everyone and is designed to provide training vis-à-vis the use of visualization to find and communicate stories. Explore and learn principles and ethics of visualization.

According to the MOOC organizers the participants will learn about “how to use graphs, maps, charts, diagrams to extract meaning from large amounts of data and how to use data visualization to tell stories to different kinds of audiences.”
