“The only crime that has been proven is the hack”, said Roman Fonseca, the founding partner of Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca while protesting innocence over the Panama Papers.

Doesn’t this raise eyebrows over Mossack Fonseca’s subsidiary “e-volusoft” which claims to provide a web based state of the art computer applications called “Documanager & Secure Cloud” to its client to store information and to provide security while the parent company suffered ‘hacking’ resulting in the biggest leak in journalistic history?

e-volusoft is a business unit of Mossack Fonseca from whose (Mossack Fonseca’s) database millions of files were hacked (as the company says). May be the Mossack Fonseca clients would ask the company who it had engaged to ensure the security of their data.

According to ICIJ this was a giant leak of more than 11 million documents which were reviewed by a team of more than 370 journalists from 76 countries.
